The Hampden-Hampshire Tech Prep Consortium promotes STEM activities throughout the year as shown on the poster display.   The 12th Annual Career Fair featuring STEM careers was held last spring at Holyoke Community College.  Approximately 450 high-school and junior high-school students had an opportunity to interact with over 30 employers, educators, and community organizations about their academic and career plans and future opportunities in the STEM fields.  Later in the spring, Tech Prep students from the Consortium attended the Massachusetts Construction Career Day in Hopkinton, Massachusetts where they had hands-on experiences related to the STEM disciplines involving equipment and technology
