March 22, 2002 update:

Paul Rogat Loeb will address Earth Connection's closing session on Living with Conviction in a Cynical Time. Free and open to the public. March 29, 7:00 p.m. UMass Campus Center Auditorium. All are welcome.

Conference Workshops are Open to UMass/Five College Students on Friday, March 29 at UMass Amherst.

Special Workshops on Recycling 10:45 a.m. and 12:00 noon on Friday, March 29.

January 28, 2002 update:

Conference Registration Fees Reduced

In recognition of tough economic times for schools, families, and communities, the Early Registration fee for EC 2002 participants has been reduced from $60.00 to $50.00. We are cutting cost corners wherever we can, and hope this will make it possible for ALL interested teams to join us. We expect this year's conference to be jammed with useful learning and fun activity. Please Note: This fee change does not affect the registration rate of $80.00 by purchase order or after March 1. Scholarship help is still available.
