"STEMTEC Courses" utilize an "inquiry-based" approach that differs from the "traditional lecture-style" science and math courses. Look in here to find out what courses are "STEMTEC'ed" at your school!

STEMTEC, the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Teacher Education Collaborative is funded by the National Science Foundation/ Division of Undergraduate Education CETP Program. It is managed by the STEM Education Institute at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and the Five College/Public School Partnership.

Participating Institutions: Amherst College, Greenfield Community College, Hampshire College, Holyoke Community College, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, Springfield Technical Community College, University of Massachusetts Amherst, and the school systems of Amherst, Franklin County, Hadley, Holyoke, Northhampton, South Hadley, and Springfield.
